Tess Rechtweg

My name is Tess Rechtweg, and I am from Long Island, NY, but am currently based out of the East Village of New York City. From the age of maybe six or seven, I knew I wanted to be immersed into the arts. My parents signed me up for classes in fine art, which I ended up taking for ten years. In the sixth grade I had an urge to become a filmmaker. This shaped my love for film, and showed me what I wanted to be professionally.

In my years of filmmaking, I have been involved with the production of over twenty films, and at this time am currently producing five projects. I can not wait to see my career excel, seeing that I am only a second year-student and have been involved in producing so many projects.

I am currently studying Film and Television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, with a minor in Business Studies. My anticipated graduation date is in May 2025.
